A digital campaign and communications manager specializing in digital operations and social advocacy.
While at Winning Mark, Lauren has spent much of her time mastering digital operations for campaigns as well as client strategy. Lauren uses her experience in digital operations, political campaigning, and social justice advocacy to help Winning Mark and our clients ensure major victories for the environment, education, women's rights, and Democratic candidates.
While in her native state of Colorado, she worked as a Legislative Aide to State Representatives Lois Court and Pete Lee. She also organized and volunteered for a number of local political campaigns. From 2014-2015, Lauren was an Executive Assistant and Project Manager at international non-profit, Namlo International. There, she focused on fundraising, developing the digital infrastructure of the organization, and implementing various humanitarian development projects in Nepal and Nicaragua.
In 2015, Lauren earned a Master's Degree in International Development from the University of Denver, where she specialized in global gender inequality and Iranian-American relations. She received her Bachelor's from the University of Colorado, Boulder in Political Science and International Affairs. While in college, she advocated for women by volunteering as a Courthouse Advocate, assisting women seeking protection orders against domestic abusers.
Lauren was recently selected as an independent contributor to Huffington Post and has been published on multiple other platforms including Portland's own esteemed health advocacy publication, Nightingale. In 2014 she created and managed her own digital publication website, Fried Magazine, which focused on producing pieces from up and coming artists and writers in the Denver area.
