A bold and enthusiastic systems manager with a passion for humanitarian causes.
After successfully navigating her first election cycle, Carly has recently transitioned into the Director of Operations role, encompassing aspects of marketing, finance, and infrastructure, as well as the daily goings-on of Winning Mark.
Carly brought to Winning Mark her strong experiential basis in marketing and operations. Prior to Winning Mark, she managed communications and marketing projects at Lycée Français de San Francisco including a bi-yearly, bilingual magazine, numerous events, coordinated marketing campaigns and admissions recruiting programs. Landing at Winning Mark, she was well-suited to manage print production during the 2016 Presidential Election cycle. Throughout her time at Winning Mark, Carly's creativity and strong ability to effectively manage projects and meet deadlines has made her a valuable piece of a cohesive team.
Carly's earliest memory of social justice activism was marching in one of Boise's first Gay Pride parades when she was 6 years old. At the age of 8, her mother took her to see Sister Helen Prejean speak on the abolition of capital punishment. Carly’s deep and abiding commitment to progressive causes was continually fostered through her parents’ stark and straightforward approach to social justice causes. Her memories range from helping educate local communities on the importance of safe sex, to delivering meals to HIV positive people on Thanksgiving. She continued her pattern of service by delivering food donations to the Idaho Food Bank in high school, and volunteering at the American Indian Child Resource Center in Oakland, California.
Carly is a passionate and effective communicator in two languages. Having earned her B.A. in French, she has also traveled extensively internationally, which has informed her world view and global perceptions.
