Digital Advertising Specialist - Limited Duration

Position Overview

The Digital Advertising Specialist role requires an individual who is capable of producing high-quality work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The position is an opportunity to help support the digital work of progressive campaigns and organizations — at the local, regional, and national level. The Digital Advertising Specialist is responsible for setting up the technical and data infrastructure aspects of our digital advertising campaigns. Specifically, they will:

  • Run paid advertising campaigns on various digital advertising platforms, including Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, X Ads, TheTradeDesk, etc.
  • Analyze and optimize digital campaigns across multiple channels to ensure client goals are met.
  • Create and present performance reports on digital campaign metrics.
  • Troubleshoot data and source integration issues across several digital channels.
  • Manage email user data on customer relationship management systems (CRMs) such as EveryAction, ActionKit, Mailchimp, and Salesforce.
  • Assist with website projects and launches by QAing sites, researching keywords, drafting SEO copy, and adding tracking pixels. 
  • Make edits to client websites on content management systems (CMS) such as Webflow, Squarespace, and WordPress. 
  • Schedule and coordinate organic posts and videos on social media platforms such as Facebook/Instagram, X, and YouTube.
  • Support other members of the digital team as needed on client projects.
  • Report to the Digital Advertising Operations Manager.

  • Is able to problem solve, but is not afraid of asking questions.
  • Works well under pressure, and has a strong desire to do outstanding work and exceed expectations.
  • Available during occasional irregular hours (evenings and weekends).

The below criteria is preferred for this position but not required:

  • 1+ year working in a Digital Marketing or Advertising agency.
  • Experience with email marketing campaigns in platforms such as Mailchimp, NGP VAN, etc. 
  • Experience working in advertising platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TheTradeDesk, etc.
  • Basic proficiency with data visualization tools such as Google Sheets, Google Looker Studio, etc.

Position Details

Term: This position will be a full-time limited duration role from hire date through November 2024.

Location: Winning Mark’s office is located in SE Portland, Oregon. Our team is currently working remotely with no mandatory in-person work; however, there may be optional in-person events/work. Vaccination against COVID-19 is required to work in-person. We are open to considering candidates within the United States living outside of Portland, Oregon, who would be willing to work remotely full time on Pacific Standard Time. Many of our clients’ campaigns have critical, time-sensitive deadlines including policy decisions, crisis management, and elections. As a result, there are times when project teams work long and irregular hours (including evenings and weekends) on behalf of our clients.

Compensation and Benefits: This is a full-time, exempt position. The salary range for this position is $3,750–4,833 per month, commensurate with prior experience. Winning Mark offers additional allotments for transportation/home office, wellness, and cell phone as well as a robust benefits package, including:
