Digital Advertising Specialist II

The Digital Advertising Specialist II role requires an individual who is capable of producing high-quality work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The position is an opportunity to help support the digital work of progressive campaigns and organizations – at the local, regional, and national level. The Digital Advertising Specialist II is responsible for setting up the technical and data infrastructure aspects of our digital advertising campaigns. Specifically, they will:

  • Schedule and coordinate organic posts and videos on social media platforms such as Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube
  • Manage email user data on customer relationship management systems (CRMs) such as, EveryAction, ActionKit, Mailchimp, and Salesforce
  • Run paid ad campaigns on various digital advertising platforms including GoogleAds, Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter for Business, TheTradeDesk, etc.
  • Analyze and optimize digital campaigns across multiple channels to ensure client goals are met
  • Generate and interpret comprehensive data reports that track digital campaign performance
  • Troubleshoot data and source integration issues across several digital channels
  • Implement website copy and media changes on content management systems (CMS) such as SquareSpace and WordPress 
  • Support other members of the digital team as needed on complex projects

 

Who we are looking for: We seek an individual who is passionate about progressive issues such as racial justice, immigration rights, and economic equality. The ideal Digital Advertising Specialist II will have a proactive work ethic, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle new tasks no matter how big or small. We are looking for someone with the following qualities:

  • Must have 1-3 years experience working in a Digital Agency
  • Interest in working in advertising platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, TheTradeDesk, etc.
  • Basic proficiency with data visualization tools such as Google Sheets, Tableau and Google Data Studio
  • Has a strong desire to learn and master technical, data, and performance elements of digital platforms
  • Has exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills, including strong pattern recognition skills and confidence working with numbers
  • Works well in a collaborative setting, and leaves their ego at the door
  • Is able to problem-solve but is not afraid of asking questions
  • Must have a commitment to advancing equity, including but not limited to, lived experience and/or thoughtful work supporting historically marginalized communities
  • Has a passion for progressive change

 

The below experience is preferred but not required:

  • Basic proficiency with HTML and/or CSS
  • Any of the following course certifications: Google Analytics IQ, Google Skillshop, Hubspot Academy, Facebook Blueprint, etc.

 

Experience working in a fast-paced atmosphere is a plus, and a commitment to periodically working long hours is a must. At the same time, we strive to promote balance in the workplace, including flexible hours and working remotely when appropriate. The ability to work well within this system, including as a good steward of a flexible work environment, is essential. 

 

Position Details

This will be a full-time, exempt position. Base salary is commensurate with experience. Winning Mark offers a robust benefits package including:

  • Base Salary: $45,000 – $52,000; commensurate with experience
  • 100% employer-paid platinum health & dental package, including family coverage
  • $150/month transportation / home office allotment
  • $115/month wellness allotment
  • $70/month cell phone allotment
  • 15 Vacation days per year to start 
  • 10 Sick days per year
  • Additional Personal Leave days
  • 16 Paid Holidays (Including a week off at the end of the year)
  • 401K eligibility after 1 year

Due to the pandemic, we are currently operating as a fully remote company. When it’s safe to reopen, this role will have the option to report to our new office in SE Portland. Candidates outside the Portland area are encouraged to apply.
